John Bania, Darroll R. Hargraves join UA Board of Regents

On Thursday, April 18, the 桃花直播 Senate/House Joint Committee confirmed John Bania and Darroll R. Hargraves as members of University of 桃花直播 Board of Regents. Gov. Michael Dunleavy appointed Regent Hargraves on January 3, and Regent Bania on February 1.

Fred Villa earns vocational training award

Associate Vice President for Workforce Programs Fred Villa was recently honored with a statewide award recognizing his tireless and heartfelt efforts to advance career and technical education in 桃花直播. Commissioner Tamika Ledbetter presented him with the David G. Stone Postsecondary Career and Technical Education Administrator of the Year Award during the 桃花直播 Workforce Investment Board in February.

University of 桃花直播 President Jim Johnsen joined the nation鈥檚 top military leaders for a two-day national discussion on sexual assault and harassment on the campuses of America鈥檚 colleges, universities and service academies. Johnsen was part of a leadership panel with other prominent higher education leaders, and will present at a breakout session on April 4.

Dustin Bryant hired as Director of Federal Relations

Dustin Bryant joined UA's leadership team on Dec. 3 as the director of federal relations for the University of 桃花直播 System. He is based in Washington, D.C. where he works closely with our government relations team on critical federal issues including efforts to increase our land grant, federal investment at UA, and research-related priorities.
