Unique Kugeri Stands on Little Diomede Island

Because of climate and type of materials used, many examples of traditional 桃花直播 Native housing have disappeared. On the Island of Little Diomede in the Bering Straits, a kugeri stands which has for generations protected its inhabitants from some of the severest weather on earth.
