Preventive Benefits - Do you know what's covered?
The start of a new plan year is a great time to remind employees of the preventive
visits available to them on their UA Choice Plans. Preventive visits are covered at
100% on all our plans - meaning there is no out-of-pocket costs to the employee for
these visits. These visits go beyond general wellness exams and vaccines. Preventive
visits can include blood pressure screenings, breast cancer and colon cancer screenings,
tobacco cessation, birth control and family planning, and more. Review Premera鈥檚 preventive screenings list to get a bigger picture. Remember - preventive visits can vary depending on age,
sex, and risk. If you鈥檙e unsure where to start, you can always call over to TouchCare and they can help you find a doctor, schedule your appointment, review your bill
after an appointment, and more!
